SEEDS OF COMPASSION PRESENTS RIANE EISLER AT TOWN HALL
A compassionate economy is not only possible — it is essential.
Dr. Riane Eisler, author of The Chalice and The Blade: Our History, Our Future, now in 23 languages, will focus her presentation on the concept of “caring economics” introduced in her new book, The Real Wealth of Nations. She will help us explore the use of partnership systems and relationships to transform ourselves, our businesses, our communities and our world, discussing how each individual can work to build a more caring, sustainable economy and society.
As America teeters on the brink of financial ruin, Dr. Eisler’s message helps illuminate our collective need to incorporate compassion into our economy. Riane Eisler has become an eminent social scientist, attorney, author and social activist. She has received many honors and is featured in the award winning book Great Peacemakers, as one of 20 leaders for world peace, with the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu and Mahatma Gandhi. She is president of the Center for Partnership Studies.
